RECENT 3-D Work

Working intuitively with recognizable ‘stuff’ and materials, the objects I make - memorials or markers, tributes (in a sense) – commemorate or honor places, memories, or activities. In an attempt to reconnect with, or recall, past times of wonder and possibility, the forms take their clues from many sources and allude to notions of not hiding but revealing, of seeking and exploring, burying and digging, finding and unfolding. The works are abstractions, narratives in 3-D, engaging ideas of sketching or doodling with tools and materials.
